Treetop Retreat is a unique boutique inn perched atop one of the highest hills in Brown County Indiana. Located just 3 miles north of the quaint village of Nashville Indiana, Treetop Retreat offers beautiful accommodations for groups, families and couples. Our view is simply one of the best in the Midwest making us a destination for the discerning traveler. Come and enjoy the peace of nature while watching the sun set, a storm blow across the hills or the occasional bald eagle ride a thermal. We offer suites with king size beds for couples as well as a small Brown County cabin with an additional suite attached for families or small groups. All of our accommodations come with fireplaces, which are operational from the middle of September until the middle of May annually. The Lodge at Treetop Retreat, a converted recording studio, is a wonderful spacious overnight gathering place for a girls-weekend, family getaway, or a couple looking for something a little extra special. Treetop Retreat is located on nearly 12 acres of forested hills, on a dead-end county road, thus offering abundant peace and quiet in which to enjoy nature and reconnect with loved ones. A fire pit is positioned at the very top of the hill, a safe distance from the hotel, with its own amazing view of the rolling hills and spectacular star-filled night sky. Springtime brings flowering dogwoods, redbuds and wild cherries. In summer the air is filled with the scent of honeysuckle and thunderstorms can be tracked across the seven-mile view from our back decks. In the fall, as the foliage turns from green to gold, cool breezes sweep across the hills. Winter offers a peace and silence seldom experienced in our busy, modern world. Soak in the spa tub while watching curtains of snow drift across the valleys and over the hills. Cozy up next to the fire with the gentleness of rest and preparation for the season ahead.
